My name is Dakota, I am the author of this photography inspired weblog. I enjoy photography, travel and meeting new people. Thought provoking conversations along with coffee inspire me, and the occasional Rialto film is interesting. I’m a designer and a traveler who currently lives in New Zealand, a Pacific Island at the bottom of the Polynesian triangle, although I am originally from California, I have been living in New Zealand long enough to call it home now…  life for me is rather, say, ‘eclectic’ due to the fact that I am French/Polynesian… In cosmopolitan terms I like to think I get the both of both worlds. I have a particular penchant for photography and writing, which I like to engage in over coffee in my spare time when I am not in airplanes, buying things at mediterranean deli’s, browsing art galleries or coming up with new inspiration.

Dakotarico – The name is a combination of my first name and my middle name. And yes, Dakota is in fact my real name. When I meet new people I often get the slightest inclination that they’re thinking about Dakota Fanning, get her out of your head right now!
