About the Dakota Rico Collection: The Dakota Rico Collection incorporates snippets of my design work, both past and present, from portfolios and other design portraiture that I do, or have done. Whilst incorporating my design work into these pieces, I also incorporate culture, quality and my identity into each piece, with a vast range of stones and beads from all over the world. I am inspired by Persian patterns, Bohemian textiles, French renaissance and boudoir, as well as modern conceptual design. Inspired by vintage French jewelry of the 1950’s, this necklace set features faceted Moonstone beads, white pearls, exquisite Chalcedone and silver fixtures. To match the necklace centerpieces Dakota Rico’s Chalcedone earrings with silver French hooks and white pearl focal points were added to this collection, in addition to a simple yet eye catching bracelet featuring aqua-blue quartz and white pearls. Whether one wears this to a concert, restaurant or casino (http://www.casino.com/nz/) it is highly likely that others will notice and comment on these unique and delicate pieces. So much care has gone into sourcing their stones and balancing them perfectly– they hard not to notice. Even those unfamiliar with vintage styles will appreciate the subtle grace and elegance of this jewelry.

An exclusive black pearl set by Dakota Rico featuring a handmade pearl woven bracelet, an extravagant black pearl necklace combine with faceted Onyx beads and an Italian Milano center piece in a red-wine shade, finished with the introduction earrings, with black pearls threaded on silver rods and French hooks. 

An extravagant necklace set featuring Champagne pearls, faceted amethyst beads, an iridescent Citrene center piece accompanied by hand-blown floral beads from Paris, France. In this set, to match the extravagance of the necklace and it’s center pieces comes the addition of a Dakota Rico bracelet featuring white pearls, Rajistani ruby beads and un-faceted Citrene. Lastly, to match the set comes a pair of  Persian-inspired floral earrings, two set white pearls enclosed with silver flower petals.

This set is one of Dakota Rico’s most extravagant stone collections due to the heavy use of Ruby beads, which are usually only found set in rings and center pieces. To compliment the vivid colors of rouge rubies, faceted Onyx has been combined to this piece to make the colors jump out. The pink and black tones in this set are unusual and intriguing on the eye. To match the necklace centerpieces a matching bracelet comes with this set, as well as an exclusive pair of Onyx earrings, wrapped in intricate floral filigree, again, inspired by Persian art work and textile patterns.

The necklace alone is extravagant with expensive Persian turquoise and high quality amethyst beads, featuring the spacing of white pearls in matching strands. To accompany the addition of white pearls and Persian turquoise comes the introduction of Persian floral earrings that represent two coupled flowers. Lastly, featuring an exclusive ring, made with bright blue Persian turquoise and erotic, red Tibetan coral.

The necklace alone is extravagant with rare Tibetan Coral and high quality Onyx beads, featuring the spacing of white pearls in matching strands. Refinery combined with illustriousness. To accompany the addition of Red Coral and Onyx comes the introduction of Persian-inspired floral earrings that represent two coupled flowers wrapped around Red Coral. Lastly, featuring an exclusive ring, made with bright Tibetan red Tibetan coral. 

Elegance, extravagance and refinery combined. This piece is one of my favorite pieces created. Combined are Champagne pearls, Amethyst beads, pink rose quartz, and eye mother of pearl. Inspired by Marie Antoinette and segments of jewelry from my previous portrait series titled: ‘This is avant garde’. 

This truly is one of Dakota Rico’s most extravagant sets, after the Ruby set. The reason being that, the stones in this set are very alluring. When they move, the colors literally change, in what could be described as a Rainbow captured in a stone. Also featuring the finest earring set  as well as an exclusive ring featuring Alexandrite stones in a silver leaf pattern. Followed by a necklace made with faceted Onyx, Chalcedone, rose quartz and Amethyst. Lastly, an exclusive bracelet with monochromatic colors, from light purple crystal to dark purple crystal, spaced with high quality silver beads.

Exotic Persian, Tibetan and Egyptian color tones run through out this unique set. Featuring Persian turquoise, Chalcedone, Tibetan coral, faceted Onyx, white pearls and silver beads. To compliment the extravagance of this set, a ring from Dakota Rico’s collection has been added to this piece, featuring filigree characteristics and intricate silver work.

This is one of Dakota Rico’s favorite and exclusive sets featuring the heavy use of Moonstone and green tones combine with light pink tones. With hours of beading and color matching, this necklace by Dakota Rico has matched to be an artistic piece as well as a jewelry piece. In addition to the use of Moonstone, pink rose quartz, amethyst, and Chalcedone, Dakota Rico also combined Champagne pearls into this piece to separate the colors and make them more vivid.
